overall it can be seen that the three younger age groups donated more in 2009 than they did in 2019 whereas the two older age groups donated more in 2019 than 2009.Further a higher proportion of middle age group tend to donate money more than other age people.

Looking at the three younger age groups in more detail it is evident thay the percentage of people in the 18-25 age group who donated money to charity stood at 19%in 2009 and this number go down to 9%in 2019 which is the lowest value on the chart.for 26-35 age group charity donation in italy were 33% in 2009 and also dropped to 28% in 2019.similarly the percentage of people aged 36-50 who gave money to charity fell from 41% which is the highest value on the chart to 34% a decade later.
