The bar chart provides information about proportion of world’s population and distribution of wealth by region.
Overall, it can be seen that both world’s population and wealth distributed unevenly. North America have largest share in wealth despite of having despite of having one of the least population number. In contrast, although China have largest figure in terms of population, their share in wealth is relatively low.
North America have largest share of world’s wealth with around 33%, while proportion of population is about 6%. Europe have second largest figure in global wealth with exactly 30%, when population percentage is about 15%. Next, Rich Pacific Asia countries also have more figures in global wealth than in population with approximately 25% and 5% respectively.
On the other hand, China have largest population share with about 23%, while it’s proportion in global wealth is lower than 5%. Next, remaining four countries all have more share in population than in global wealth, with Latin America and Carribbean almost having the same percentages in both categories.
