The chart compares the percentage of men and women participants in sport sections such as football, tennis, basketball, running and ice-skating, in the last month. Overall, in football and running participants are mostly male players, while tennis and ice-skating preferred sports among female players. However, in basketball the number of two genders are the same.

According to the chart, football shows higher participation rates than other four sports. Moreover, in football nearly 70% of participants are men, while only 17.5% of women are engaged in this type of sport. However, tennis players are mostly females accounting for around 40%, the percentage of men participation in tennis approximately 30%.

Regarding basketball, it has an equal distribution of male and female participants, with just over 17,5 % for each. Nevertheless, the percentage of male runners is nearly 52.5%, while around 20% of runners are females. Additionally, running is the second sport section where men are predominantly engaged. In contrast, ice-skating had significantly more women participants with nearly 50%, while men’s share accounting for about 20%.
