The bar chart illustrates date regarding undergraduate and graduate student’s live arrangements at a specific United States university in 2013.
Overall, it is evident that the university dormitory is the most popular means of accommodation for undergraduate students, whereas only a few undergraduate students lived in a married student housing in a particular US university. In addition, while the shared apartments had the highest number of graduate students, the university dormitory had none.
In terms of university dormitory, over 4,000 undergraduate students lived there, whereas no graduate students did. Similarly, the number of undergraduate students living with their parents was higher than that of graduate students ( almost 1,000 and less than 500 respectively). In shared apartments and houses, the number of undergraduate students was over 3,500 and almost 1,500, which was more than double the number of graduate students, who were just over 1,000 and almost 1,000.
On the other hand, the number of graduate students was higher in the remaining living arrangements than that of undergraduate students. Over 500 graduate students living in their own apartments and houses was slightly higher than the number of undergraduate students, who were just around 500 and less than 500.
