The charts show the proportion of boys and girls aged5-14 years who participates un organised cultural activities and sport in Australia in 2003.
Overall, the highest percentage of participants loved to go sport compared to other cultural activities including drama, dancing, singing, and playing a musical instrument.
Beginning with organised activities, the largest proportion among all sections was dancing, however girls provided almost 30% while about 2% of boys, which is the smallest figure in chart, attended to it. Although few boys participated in dancing, they were more interested in playing musical instruments with about 15% which was the highest figure among male youngsters, whereas double less girls took part in that activity. Apart from that, drama and singing were the smallest amount among all activities which is 3% for boys and 5% for girls.
In terms of sport participants, boys engaged in sport more than girls. The highest figure was for boys, while the percentage of girls was equal amount with a half proportion of boys.
