The two graphs show the difference between girls and boys aged 5-14 years when it comes to taking part in cultural activities.
In the first graph, we can observe that both males and females do not generally have a liking for drama or singing. Only 5 percent of them enjoyed the two activities. The obvious difference between the two genders can be seen in their preference for dancing: a quarter of the girls asked have been doing dance courses, whereas boys do not have a strong passion about it, less then 5 percent of them choosing this activity. Playing a musical instrument is where boys take the lead, the study is showing that the difference between the two is 5 percent.
The second graph reveals that boys like sports more than girls do, more than 70 percent of males enjoying these physical activities. However, girls do not generally refrain from sports, more than half of them do sports.
