Looking at the pie chart, the percentage of tourists coming from Asia was the highest with 26%, while the figure for those from other countries was the lowest at 5%. In addition, there was a similarity between the number of New Zealand visitors and North America when figures were both one-fifth. Moreover, the proportion of European tourists was 15%, which was slightly higher than in China by 1%.
The table reveals that the primary reason for visiting Australia was holidays, at 60%. Meanwhile, business purposes were the second most common at 18%, education constituted 9% of visits . Followed by the figures for employment and other reasons, which accounted for 5% and 2%, respectively.
