The two pie charts compare the percentages of British students speaking multiple languages other than English for the year 2000 and 2010.

Overall, Spanish language is widely spoken language amongst all, by British students.

To initiate with the highest, Spanish language is the most spoken by British students in 2000 by 30% as well as in 2010 by 35%. Secondly, no other language except English had ratio of 20% in 2000 whereas in 2010 it decreased to 10%. Meanwhile, there is a similarity shown that the students who preferred German only had same proportion in both years 2000 and 2010 which was 10%.

The proportion of students who spoke Another language in 2000 was 15%, and it went up in 2010 by 20%. Moreover, the students who preferred to speak Two other languages than English had the ratio of 15% in 2000 and 10% in 2010. Lastly the students who spoke French only had proportion of 15% in 2000 but gradually went down in 2010 by 10%.
