Overall, it is clear that reputation of the university was the most important reason for students, followed by cost, while availability of accommodation was the least important reason.
Looking first at the major reasons, for the reputation of the university 42% students were choose the university for study, representing the highest proportion among all categories. The second most popular reason was the cost of the courses, which was chosen by 32% of the students.
Turning to the remaining reasons, they represent a much smaller proportion of the chart. Only 7% students were choosing the university influenced by personal recommendation. Interestingly, location and other reasons were each made up 6% proportion equally, whereas availability of accommodation had the smallest thing that influenced students to study at the university, which was only 3%.
