The given pie chart compares the production of five different energy types in France between 1995 and 2005.
Overall, it is readily apparent that gas and coal were the main priorities for manufacturing in both years. It is also notable that only the proportion of petroleum decreased after the ten years, while the opposite trend was seen in the remaining kinds of energy.
In 1995, both gas and coal accounted for the largest percentages of 29.63% and 29.80% respectively, followed by petroleum, just roughly 0.5% lower. After ten years, the manufacture of gas and coal increased by approximately 1% each, while there was a considerable decline in petroleum production, making up just 19.55% of the total, which was about 10% lower than that of 1995.
Regarding the remaining kinds of energy, nuclear held around 6.40%, whereas other energy types represented the least significance, only 4.90%. By 2005, the French tended to produce slightly larger amounts of these energy types, at 10.10% for the former and 9.10% for the latter.
