Similarly, people in the UK spent their money on books just over £400,000 while French spent exactly £300,000. By contrast, the difference in cameras was much larger. While France spent 150,000 on cars, the UK spent just over £350,000 and that was more than twice what France spent.
On the other hand, the amount of money paid out on the remaining goods was higher in France. France spent above £350,000 on computers, while the UK spent £350,000. Also France spent significantly more money than the UK on perfume. The UK spent just under £150,000 and France spent exactly £200,000.
