Overall, people had the tendency to eat at a fast food restaurant once a week and once or twice a month during the time shown. Only a small percentage of people ate there every day.
First, regarding the two most popular options. In 2003, around 30% of people chose to eat at a fast food shop once a week, and exactly 30% once or twice a month. In 2006, the percentage of dwellers spending time at junk food restaurants was about 33% and 25% respectively. In 2013, that was approximately 26% and 33% in that order.
Concerning the remaining categories, in 2003, the percentage of people eating at junk food restaurants several times a week was around 17%, compared with 20% in 2006 and just above 15% in 2013. Similar change but to a much lesser extent was seen in the figure for people eating fast food a few times a year; in 2003, that figure accounted for around 13% and exactly 15% in 2006 and 2013. However, the percentage of people having meals at fast food every day and never was extremely low, just under 5% over the time shown.
