The bar chart given illustrate how often USA citizens be at fast food restaurants in the years 2003, 2006 and 2013.
Overall, in all three years a significantly higher proportion of USA peoples who ate in fast food outlets either once or once or twice a month. In comparison, only a minor proportion of peoples who ate there daily or never ate there.
A substantial 31% and 33% of people in the USA ate in fast food restaurants once a week in both 2003 and 2006, in 2013 this proportion reflects a moderate decline at around 27%. In these three years peoples who ate there once or twice a month also represented a significant proportion of their population. As ca be seen in the chart this proportion first dropped from 2003’s 30% to 2006’s 25% and then climbed up to around 33% in 2013.
The proportion of those eating in fast food restaurant several ties a week varied between 15% to 20%, while those people who ate a few times a year showed an increase from approximately 13% to 15% over the period. By contrast, in none of these three years were more than 5% of people in either “every day” or the “never” category.
