In 2005, all types of borrowing books experienced a substantlly decrease, the Top Audio-Visual Materials accounted for 230 million, in contrast to childrens’ books, which stood at only 110 million. The adult fiction books showed considerable drop by 33 million and stood at only 60 million, adults’ non-fiction books experienced decline merely to 9 million.
