The bar chart illustrates how many people who have enrolled for fitness membership of both genders in Thailand from 1985 to 2015.
In general, while the number of female members increased, the opposite was true for male members over the period. It is clear that, both sexes had the highest demand for membership in 2010.
As can be seen from the graph, males membership was approximately 2200 members, compared to females at around 1300 members in 1985. In the following five years, the similar increasing trend was witnessed in both genders, the number of men was double women members in around 3800 people and 1900 humans respectively. Subsequently, male membership had decreased to around 1800 members, whereas female had increased to 2800 members in 2000.
Between 2005 and 2010, there was a rose significantly in 2005, reaching a peak of nearly 3000 members and 5000 people in female and male respectively in 2010. At the end of the period, the number of women signed up for membership stood at 2000 humans, two time as much as than of men members.
