Overall, the most popular activity for both girls and boys who are 5-14 old years is watching TV or videos. Additionally, boys engaged in the least arts and crafts, whereas skateboarding and rollerblading are the most common activities in girls.
Regarding watching TV or videos, the rate for girls and boys accounts for 100%, being it the most engaging hobby. The proportion of bike riding and electronic or computer games ranges between 80% and around 60% for both participations. To be more precise, in bike riding, boys who are aged 4-15 years take up almost 70%, while the figure for girls makes up nearly three-fifths. 80% of boys take part in games, compared to 60% for boys.
However, two participants select less skateboarding/rollerblading and art/craft. Both activities take up almost the same proportion in boys, at around 45%. As for girls, the former constitutes well over one-fifth while the latter takes up just under 60%.
