The line graph depicts the amount spent by Japan, Italy and France on healthcare, from the year 1990 to 2010, quantified in Billion Dollars.
It is evident from the data that, there is a sharp rise in the expense on healthcare in the three places mentioned, throughout a specified period. Japan heads the list whereas France occupies the last spot. The expenditure of Italy is steady with slight fluctuations.
In 1990, Japan used only around 50 Billion Dollars which increased dramatically to above 120 million dollars in 2010, making Japan hold the top spot. Followed by Japan, Italy seconds the list, by spending exactly 40 Billion Dollars to 120 Billion Dollars by the end of 2010. Although, between 2000 and 2005 Italy has kept their expenses between 80 Billion Dollars to approximately 90 Billion Dollars.
However, France outlaid only below 20 Billion Dollars in 1990 but suprisingly increased their investment on health to below 120 Billion Dollars and has managed to occupy the last spot. Overall, the revenue allocated on healthcare has increased in a steep manner over a period of 20 years.
