The chart given compares the amount of tea and coffe consumed per person in seven countries in 2015.
Overall, coffe was more prefered than tea in most countries with the exception of Rusia, Turkey and United Kingdom, where people enjoyed tea more than coffe.
Looking first at countries where the consumption of coffe was higher, Canada had the largest figure overall with well over 6 kilograms per person, while tea consumption was just under a kilogram. The US came second as each person used approximately 5,5 kilograms, ten times higher compared to the consumption of tea. The differences in consumption in New Zealand and Ustralia was les noticable (3,75kg coffe to 1,25kg tea and 3kg coffee to 1kg tea).
In contrast, people who come from Rusia, Turkey and United Kingdom tended to drink tea more than coffee. Turkey recorded the greatest amount of tea consumption, at 5 kilograms per person, significantly higher than its coffee figure of 3 kilograms. Russian consumed 2,5 kilograms tea but 1,5 kilograms coffee. Finally, people in the US used the same the amount of tea and coffee at 3 kilograms.
