Overall, the consumption of the two beverages was completely different across various nations.
Initially, in Australia the coffee consumption was about 1 kilogram per person, whereas tea was 3 kilograms per individual. In Canada there was an enormous distinction between the intake of tea and coffee: nearly 1 and 6 kilograms per person respectively. Looking at New Zealand, the consumption of tea was 1.2 kilograms per person and the intake of coffee was 3.8 kilograms per individual. In Russia the gap was not that significant: 2.5 kilograms of tea and 1.5 kilograms of coffee per person.
In Turkey the consumption of tea was noticeably higher than coffee: 5 kilograms per person, compared to 2 kilograms per individual. Looking at the United Kingdom, the overall intake of both beverages was at the same level: 3 kilograms per person. The United States showed that people there tend to drink coffee at all: 5.5 kilograms per capita, whereas the total intake of tea there was 0.5 kilograms per person. Another point that should also be highlighted is that the most visible difference between the consumption of the two drinks was in Canada.
