This chart provides information about the amount of free time per week for males and females, divided by employment status.
According to the data we have seen a considerable difference in the number of leisure hours between working people and those, who do not have a job, except for the housewives: the second group has almost twice as much time off (around 80 hours aganist about 40 for the employed), which is true both for women and men, with slightly less hours for females.
Turning to the housewives, it is clear that on the average they enjoy 50 hours of leisure time a week, which is 10 hours more than part-time employed females, but roughly 30 hours less than non-working women. Moreover, part time employed women have almost the same number of free hours per week as full time employers.
To sum up, it seems that women with the same employment status as men have less time-off than men.
