The bar chart shows information about the graduates from 6 different British universities in the years 2000 and 2015.
It is clear that in every university, the percentage of international graduates increased by 2015 overall. We can see that ‘London’ university dramatically grew, while Bristol university recorded the lowest increase than other universities.
Looking at the information in more detail, the proportion of international graduates in Oxford had the highest number in 2015, rising from 14% to approximately 25%. Cambridge was the second most popular university for international students after Oxford, starting at 15% in 2000 and reaching around 23% in 2015. At the same time, London increased dramatically after 2000, jumping from only 5% and reached 20% in 2015, hitting the highest growth level on record for this group.
Meanwhile, Cardiff and Bath started with lower numbers but successfully increased to 14% and 12% in 2015 respectively. Consequently, they were in fourth and fifth places by the end of the period. Finally, Bristol started at below 5% in the year 2000 and after that slowly increased to approximately 8% in 2015, remaining the lowest university on the chart.
