As we can see from the chart above, females and males have differences in their leisure time despite of their employment status. Although, it is a graph-period of 1998-1999th, so we can say that these results are not very accurate.
People who have full time jobs have a small amount of free time, and it is quiet predictable. Men spend about 10 hours more on themselves than women. It might have been caused by that time’s issue- women have to take care of house and children. That means women spend less time than opposite sex.
Surprisingly, employees with part-time jobs have a big gap. Men don’t do any activities on their leisure time. Women, in the opposite, give 40 hours per week to favorite hobbies. It is quite amusing.
Unemployed and retired people have a lot of free time, which is vividly seen in the graph. Men spend more time, tho. They spend almost three days out of seven doing their things. Women spend a little less.
Housewives, as we know, are females. They don’t have any job, except housework and taking care of their children, but it’s still time-consuming and exhausting work to do.
