The bar graph provides information on the amount of money per week spent on three fast food items by different income groups in the UK in 1990.
Overall, three income groups are given, including high income, average income and low income. When analysing the trend, the most amount of money spent on hamburgers and least amount of money spent on pizza.
Detailed analysis shows that, high income group’s weekly expenditure on hamburger was top among the list with 45 pounds. Conversely, the high income category assigned nearly 20 pounds on pizza, and less than 17 pounds on fish and chips.
Followed by that average income people baught nearly 35 pounds of hamburgers, and only about 12 pounds of pizza. However, their expediture was mostly on fish and chips among all categories given in the chart and it was 25 pounds.
In the case of low income earning individuals, they spent most on fish and chips, and it is accounted for roughly 17 pounds. Weekely they spend around 15 pounds on hamburgers and 7 pounds on pizza demostrating a huge disparity between high and low income categories.
