Overall, average salary for all sectors increased and the annual salary of employees of every sector saw an increase, with the exception of Tourism. The highest growth was in Financial services, followed by Retail/shops, while the reverse was true for Administration. The Telecommunications workers were well-paid after Financial Services.
In 2000, the mean salary for all sectors was 44.000 dollars, and financial services workers were the most well- paid who were paid about 113.000 dollars monthly, while the reverse was true for tourism that their salary was $20.000. After Financial services, Telecommunications workers were paid approximately 62.000 dollars, while the salaries of Administration and Transport workers were nearly the same, and the last Reatail/shops staffs were paid more than Tourism employees only and paid about $18.000 more than them.
Focusing on the figures of year 2010, all sectors’ average salary witnessed an increase, while the Financial services witnessed tha highest growth that was about 10.000 dollars, while the Tourism observed decline. Albeit, the salary of workers of Administration and Transport were was almost equal in 2000, the decade after latter were paid well because of the noticeably increase. Interestingly, the grown salary of Retail/shops was equivalent to salary of Transport in 2000 and more than Administration in 2010. Additionally, in 2010 Telecommunications workers were paid about 2000 dollars more than 2010.
