Overall, it is clear that both the youngest and oldest people spent a great amount of time by watching TV channels. Furthermore, teenagers and adolescents spent the least time on relaxing and thinking, while exercises and recreation were the least activities which were favourite among the oldest people.
In 2015, in average, 4.5 hours per day was spent by oldest people to activities such as watching TV, while among people who are between 15 and 19-year-old, in average, it was just under 2.5 hours per day. Of note, among senior citizens of the UK other activities, such as reading, relaxing, communicating, playing games, and sport activites in average were under 1 hours per day, except watching TV channels.
Among teenagers, in average, less than 0.5 hours was spent on reading and relaxing, while they spent above 0.5 hours per day for socializing and doing exercises. It should be noted that times which were spent on computer games were twofold more among adolescents than the oldest people.
