The graph gives information about the number of sales of four types of books – Hobbies, Entertainment, History, Art – over a period of 10 years.
Overall, there was an upward trend in proportion of sales to History and Art books, while the opposite was true for Entertainment books. Meanwhile, the figures for Hobbies books more or less unchanged over the given period.
Looking at the details, History and Art books experienced an increase in the number of sales, though with various degrees. The former stood at about 5,000 sales in 2002. The next four years, sales increased continuously, and reached around 8,000. However, figures for History books declined slightly in 2010 and 2012, with around 9,000 sales. The changes in Art books were slightly different and it started about 2,000 sales in 2002. After that, sales increased gradually and reached about 5,000, in 2012.
As for Entertainment books, the figure witnessed a rise with mild fluctuations. In 2002 and 2004, about 2,000 books were sold and increased slightly until 2012, with about 3,000 sales. However, Hobbies books being the least sales over the period, stood at about 500, in 2002. In 2004 sales increased to 1,000. However, in 2006 figures decreased to about 300 sales and these numbers almost unchanged till 2012.
