The graph illustrates the changes in the three various sectors of Manchester city center over 9 years, from 2003 to 2012.
Overall, starting with burglary, it has drastically decreased and remained in a certain position over the years while car theft seems to have a slight increase, as for robbery, after having small ups and lows, it got to the same point it started at.
Firstly, burglary took the highest ranking spot, starting at approximately 3,400 percent in 2003, after a slight increase of 300 percent over a year. It then dramatically fell to nearly 1,000 percent in 2008, however, picked itself up to 1,500 percent in 2009 and stayed around that level for 3 years. whereas, car theft showed a slight drop at 2,000 percent in 2006 and gradually started to increase its pace up to around 2,500 and 2,800 percent in 2010, and 2012.
Lastly, robbery did not show much difference over the 9 years. It ranked the lowest, starting at around 500 percent in 2003. It stayed inside the 500 to 1,000 percent range after some minimum increases and decreases. In 2012, it fell to where it started.
