The line graph illustrates the changes that took place Buglary, Car theft and Robbery in New Port city center between 2003 and 2012.

Overall, robbery and car theft are witnessed a flactuation. While, buglary crimes went down throughout the given period.

At the beginning, there was steady increase in number of incidents from nearly 3400 to a peak of just over 3500 in 2004, followed by a gradual decline to approximatley 2500 in the next 2 years. In the following years it continue to fall more and reached lowest point of just over one thousand in 2008. After increasing slightly to 1500 in 2009, the index flactuated between 2009 and 2011 and went down from 1500 to nearly 1400 in the 2012.

Meanwhile, the other two type of crimes flactuacted whole timeframe. Robbery started from just over 500 and slightly raised to nearly 1000 in 2005, then had decreased gradually by 400. In the next 4 years there was flactuation nearlya at 600. Whereas, in car theft, there was level off at 2500, followed by decline from 2500 to 2000 in 2006. After flactuating in the next 3 years, the figure rose moderately and reached just over 2500.
