The given line graph gives information about the changes in crime rate on burglary, car theft and robbery in Newport between 2003 and 2012.
In general, the rate of burglary showed a downward trend, while car theft and robbery experienced a slight fluctuation. Meanwhile, robbery remained lower remained the lowest rate than the other two types of crime.
During the first four years, it can be seen that burglary was the most outstanding type of crime with a the peak of nearly 4000 incidents in 2004. However, two years later there was a surge in the number of experienced a surge in the number of burglary incidents.
