The chart given under illustrate the changes that were seen in three different areas of crime in the Newport city centre during 2003 to 2012.
In this chart , number of incidents are shown in x_ xsis and year are mentioned in y.xsis. As we can see that there are fluctuations in crime. In 2003, burglary rate is very high which is approximately 3400.and with pasing years it decreased quickly . In 2012 it is it is almost 1400. Similarly, other crime rate also changed as years passed. Changings in car theft rates are also fluctuaing positively and negatively.same like that we can see ups and in rubbery ratios.
If we deeply analyze , we saw that there are positive and negative changings in different crimes but in the case of balgry we see negitve changes . As at start (2003) its percentage was high but yearly it began to decreased. For example in 2003 its was 3400 but after 2004 it start to become low and in 2012 it was 1400. On the other hand rubery and car thefts shows the positive changes . They began to increased slowly as the year passed.
