Starting at around 120 thousand prisoners in 1930, the population of Canada, the most inmates of the five examined cities, had gone down in the next decade. The US and New Zealand both have the same level of prisoners at 100 thousand. Australia had approximately 70 thousand captive people and Great Britain had the least. After a decade, number of prisoners in Britain maintain the same level whilst Australia plunged from 70,000 to 50,000 and New Zealand also reduced from 100 thousand to 55 thousand. In conclusion, throughout 50 decades, the crime number got highest in the United State and Great Britain while Australia, Canada and New Zealand witnessed an ups and down.
