Proposed chart bar presents statistic of immigration in Australia during the period 19992-2001. There are workers, who immigreted for staying in Australia for life and who consider just temporary being there.
Overall we can abserbe a great dinamic in the chart. Number of temporary workers tends to increase, while amount of immigrants, who are planing to stay permanently in the country changes over the years. But also there are periods of stabilization for both types of workers.
Inflow of permanent workers was very high in 1992, over 40000 people arrived to Australia to build their lifes there, but then, in 1993, this number drops approximately to the 22000 and stays stable till the 1997. In 1998 amount of this type of workers goes up gradualy to about the 35000 people in 2001. Amount of non-permanent workers stays the same during 1992-1996, then, in 1997, it starts to climb up sharply. From 1998 to 2000 number of foreign workers stays almost the same – under 40000 persons. In 2001 it reaches a peak of above 4500 immigrants.
