The given chart presents data about the percentage of internet users for both genders, from age 15-24 group in Canada of the year 2000. Overall, it is noticeable that male as well as female users preferred utilizing screen time for email and social networks to the other purposes.
Starting with male users who remained dominant in two different categories. The proportion of men using internet for social networks account for 28%, which was slightly more than women only 4%; respectively, the second most popular internet use among men was for other activities which doubled the figure for women at the same category.
With regard to females, the percentage of women utilizing internet for email was 48% which surpassed the figure for men (41%). In addition, female users also prevailed men at the category for online shopping which can be seen from the chart that the proportion of male users was 13% whereas the number was 19% for women; that was a 6% gap between two genders.
