The chart shows how many car trips were taken by men and women per day in a particular city in Europe.
Overall, while eating out, meeting friends and shopping were the categories, where women were dominant, purposes, like entertainment, taking children to school and riding to and from work, were more common for men. Moreover, shopping and moving to and from work were the purposes with the highest figure for both genders, while the reverse was true for eating out and meeting friends.
To start with the activities, where men were dominant, entertainment had a slight difference between two genders, 65 car trips for men, and only 50 for women. Similar pattern can be seen in taking children to school and going to and from work, where the number of car trips taken by men were 130 and 180, compared to 90 and 130 for women respectively.
On the other hand, there are several categories, where women had a bigger number of the car trips, like eating out, which had 20 car trips made by women and mere 15 by men. Meeting friends had a likewise pattern, where the figure for women was 25, and men had only 20 car trips per day. As for the shopping, there were noticeable difference between these two genders, 150 for the women, and 140 for the men similarly.
