The supplied bar graph illustrates the number of school girls per 100 boys studying in Primary education, Secondary education and Tertiary education of school education.
Overall, the number of girls are higher in developed countries by far in three different levels. While there were lowest number of girls in developing countries in both years in all three distinct level. Developed countries was over the target in tertiary education throughout the period.
In primary and secondary education, the number of girls in both developing and developed countries did not reach the target over the period. In primary education, developing countries was accounted just under 90 whereas developed countries was just over 90 in eight years period. Meanwhile, in secondary education number of girls were around 72 in 1990 and 82 in 1998 in developing countries while in developed coutries the number of school girls were approximately 98 and 98 in 1990 and 1998 respectively.
It is noticeable that in tertiary education, developed countries has reached just over the target between 100 and 115 in both years. Developing countries, however, has the lowest number of girls enrolled just under 80.
