Overall, in 1989 the prominent choice was in restaurant, while the least comprised in travel and tour. However, in 2009 restaurant still was the dominant compared to other jobs, whereas travel and tour remained the least choice.
At the beginning of the period restaurants was popular among the city at about 1100 works, while the least number of jobs was in travel and tour at approximately 800. Moreover, hotels stood at the second place at around 1050, whereas sports and leisure comprised nearly 900 works. In 1994, hotels reached a peak at around 1400, although restaurants and travel and tour increased too, to 1300 jobs and to nearly 1025, respectively. Regarding 1999, restaurants and sport and leisure experienced climb to 1400 and at around 1050, respectively. Furthermore, hotels and travel and tour decreased in this year.
Considering 2004, restaurants reached its peak at approximately 1600 occupations, however other type of jobs experienced a decline. In 2009, hotels experienced no change at around 1050, while other jobs experienced a decrease. Restaurants fell at about 1300, sport and leisure declined to 700 jobs, while travel and tour reached its lowest point at around 400 workplaces.
