The bar graph represents how many males and females received an education in full-time or part-time, respectively, in the United Kingdom from 1970 to 1991.
First of all, the number of men who got part time education declined, and that of men received full-time education increased. In 1970, around one million males took part-time classes. It decleased to approximately 850 thousands in 1990 with having hit the lowest point at around 800 thousands in 1980. In contrast, the figure of men who got full-time education went up from about 100 thousand to around 200 thousand for two decades.
Meanwhile, the trend of women was a little different. The number of females who received both port-time and full-time education increased for 20 years. The figure of port-time education started from about 700 thousand in 1970, and reached a peak of about 1.1 million in 1990. In terms of Full-time classes, the figure in 1970 stood at about 80 thousands. After that, it gradually climbed and peaked at around 300 thousand in 1990
Overall, the increase was seen for most trends except the figure of males who got part-time education.
