According to the graph men and women in further education in
Britain in three periods and whether they were studying full-time or part-time. These show a range of pattern as follows. In the bar graph which shows the statistics of men and women in further education, there was an increase in full time education in both women and men from 1970s to early 1990s.
However there was a slight decrease of full time education in men in 1980s and 1990s. Whereas in women, there was a vast increase in part time education in women. According to statistics, in 1990s there were 1100 thousand women doing part- time education, which was higher than men’s part- time education. In comparison, women and men had comparatively same full time education during 1990s. However, women pursued more part-time education than men. Men however had a stagnant statistic in part- time education and a slight decrease in 1990s.
