The given bar graph compares how many individuals were employed in five specific types of professions in one Australian town in the years 2001 and 2008.
Overall, it is clear that only three types of jobs – sales, computing, and nursing – increased in popularity, while other professions marginally declined over the period.
In 2001, sales was more common among the people, with just 150.000 workers. Subsequently, the number of people in this sphere slightly grew to peak at approximately 165.000 in 2008. In addition, less than 60.000 people worked in computing in 2001, and this index experienced a upward trend to finish at about 65.000 in 2008.
However, in the field of accounting there were negligibly 60.000 staffs at the beginning, but this trend saw a slow decline to under 60.000 in 2008. Similarly, it can be seen that the nursing sector had 55.000 staffs, seven year later this figure moderately went up to nearly 60.000, in the year 2008.
Despite this, farming was the only job which became less popular over the period.
