The bar chart compares the number of people who worked in different five professions in one Australian region in the years 2001 and 2008.
Overall, the number of people who worked in 2001, was lower than the in 2008. Also, the figure of sailors were at least twice as high as the other kinds of jobs in both years. In contrast, the lowest number of people employed in farming. Additionally, the number workers were higher than the first year in three types of professions by 2008, while accounting and farming showed a downward trend for the number of workers.
Regarding the first three types of professions: traders, computing, and nurses, which showed an upward trend. Specially, the total of traders and computer users rose notably, from about 155000 and 60000 in 2001 to around 165000 and 80000 in 2008. However the figure for nurses increased slightly by just about 1000 or 20000 from nearly 60000 in 2001.
By contrast, the other two categories of professions, both of them decreased by about 10000. The total number of a accountants were at near 70000 while The farmers number at 30000 in 2001.
