The given bar graph shows the number of travellers using John F. Kennedy, LaGuardia, and Newark; the three major airports in New York City from 1995-2000. Overall, millions of people have travelled across the years.
In 1995, LaGuardia (LG) airport had the lead with about 35 million passengers, followed by John F. Kennedy (JFK) with 25 million and lastly, Newark (New) only had half the number of passengers in LG (15 million). In 1996, LG increased by 5 million, while JFK and New, both increased by atleast 10 million people. In 1997, All the three airports were around 40 million, JFK was 45 million, LG was a little over (42 million) and New (39 million) was little below.
In 1998, JFK after having a constant rise, decreased to 35 million while LG and New airport passengers increased by an average of 3 million, making it 45 million and 41 million, respectively. In 1999, The JFK airport further decreased to 31 million, LG increased by 5 million and New remained constant at 41 million. Finally, in 2000, LG spiked upto 68 million, JFK had a slow increment to 42 million and New remained at 41 million passengers.
