The bar chart compares the number of people using three several airports in New York City between 1995 and 2000.
Overall, it is clear that, while airport in LaGuardia was the most visited airport through out the period, Newark’s airport was the least used in New York City.
In detail, around 35 millions passengers visited LaGuardia’s airport in 1995. In addition, this figure experienced a sharp increase, to about 70 millions, maintaining its position. However, this number was overtaken in 1997 by the number of people in airport in John F. Khendeny, showing 43 and 47 millions visitors, respectively. Unfortunately, then, the number of passengers in John F. Khendeny’s airport had a slight decline by the end of the period, showing 45 millions visitors, and became the second most used airport in New York City.
In contrast, airport in Newark was less attractive and showed the lowest result at 15 millions passengers in the initial year. However, its figure kept increasing and reached its peak at nearly 42 millions visitors.
