The given bar graph shows the number in thousands of four kinds of students in the UK in 1990, 1998, and 2005.
It is quite noticable that the number of male and female students, both part-time and full-time, increased drastically in the past 15 years with male and female who are full-time accounting for the highest population in the graph, while part-time students accounting less.
Going in detail, males full-time started out as 200,000 before rising a bit by 1998 and soaring by the time of 2005, reaching 800,000 students. Male part-time, however, starts at around 180,000 students before experiencing a slight decrease by about half, reaching about 90,000 students, and climbing its way up to 750,000 students, more than a 803 percent growth. Female full-time starts out having fewer numbers than males full-time. But it made a comeback in 2005 by having around 100,000 more students than the males. Same for Female part-time, starting with 90,000 students, experience some rising, and soaring at 2005 with 800,000 students, the same number with males full-time.
