Overall, the rates of juvenile crimes decreased in all areas, after the increasing and significand decrease was observed in the urban areas.
Moving to a detailed analysis, in 1995, the rate of juvenile crime increased 2%, 1 year later, percentage change reached 8% in suburban areas. Over the 1 year period, the indicator of adolescent delinquency decreased 2% and remained stable from 1997 to the end of the period.
In terms of rural areas, the changes of percentage ranked first (3%), and 1 year later the indicator of change increased steadily (3.5%), after the decreased to 2% in 1997. Over the next year the rate of juvenile crime in rural areas decreased by 2%. In urban areas, change of percentage was the lowest (0.5%) in 1995, and between 1995 and 1998, the percentage chance decreased by 5.5% and finished the period at -5%.
