The presented line graph provides information about percentage change of juvenile crime in three different areas namely suburban, rural and urban between 1995 and 1998.
Overall, it is clearly seen that crime rates by persons under 18 experienced downward trends in all three areas. While rural areas crime rate change decreased steadily, suburban and urban areas crime rate change declined with some fluctuations.
Juvenile crime rate percentage change in Rural areas started at around 3% in 1995 and remained stable in 1996. After, in 1997 this figure went down slowly to just over 2% and followed by notable decrease in 1998 till about -2%.
On the other hand in Urban areas crime rate change began at just over 0% in 1995 and steadly went up to 2% in 1996. Then, from 1996 to 1998 urban areas crime percentage change dramatically collapsed to approximately -4%. Furthermore, in suburban areas crime rate change was exactly 2% in 1995 and after year, in 1996 reached the peak at 8%, than plummeted to 2% in 1997. In 1998, crime rate change by persons under 18 accounted for exact 0%.
