The line chart presents the distribution of energy sources detailing the usage of, coal, natural gas, nuclear power, renewable energy from 1990 to 2020.
Overall, it is clear that coal is an important factor of energy. Whereas, renewable energy was declining, but eventually overcame nuclear power, reaching to natural gas levels.
40% of coal was used as energy source in 1990, following a slight increase in the two decades reaching to approximately 45% of its usage, then gradually goes back to its 2000 levels in 2020. Natural gas scored 30 percent at the very beginning, continues to waver during the period of time.
Renewable energy was doing poorly, standing at only 10 percent in 1990, when it finally peaked in 2010 and overcame nuclear power becoming 20 percent and nearly 15 percent in 2020, respectively.
