In 2010, games started at an impressive 45% and remained at this high level with almost no changes until 2014. In sharp contrast, the category of “Other” apps started at 35%, but then began to fall steadily, eventually reaching a mere 10% at the end of the period. Notably, in 2013, this falling trend caused it to intersect with the rising education category.

Looking at the remaining applications, news increased slowly from 15% to approximately 26% by 2014.
