The trend remained stable next year, slightly declined in 2012 till 40% and maintained its dominant position till the end. In contrast, news apps started at 15% in 2010, slowly increased over the five-year period and held 25% in 2014. Meanwhile, education apps, which started at 5%, consistently rose over the next 2 years before sharply increasing and matching the news apps, namely 25% in 2014. Other applications held 35% in 2010, lost its popularity during the next five years and held only 10% in 2014.
