The line chart illustrates the proportion of households with access to the Internet in three countries over a twenty-year period from 2000 to 2020.
Overall, Internet access rose markedly in all three countries throughout the period. Country A consistently recorded the highest percentages, while Country C remained the least connected, despite experiencing substantial growth.
In 2000, only 20% of households in Country A had Internet access, compared with 10% in Country B and a mere 5% in Country C. Over the following decade, usage increased sharply across all three nations. By 2010, the figure for Country A had more than tripled to 65%, while Country B rose to 55%. During the same period, Country C also saw a significant rise, reaching 40%.
From 2010 onwards, growth continued at a steadier pace. By 2015, Internet penetration in Country A had climbed to 80%, followed by Country B at 70% and Country C at 60%. In the final year, Country A peaked at 90%, with Country B close behind at 85%, whereas Country C, although still the lowest, increased substantially to 75%.
