Overall, it can clearly be seen that both of the figure had fluctuating trends, and rented accomodation had plunged over the years. Moreover, the trends for people who owned a house had increased significantly, and both of the bars had converged at 50% in 1971.
In 1918, owned household figures rose to approximately 31% and it remain steady until 1953, after that it had significantly rise to around 69% which it had reached the peak in 2001. However, it gradually dropped to 63%. In addition, rented had the opposite trend of people who owned houses, which it had slightly decline to 68% and it stayed the same until 1953, after it remained the same it plummeted for up to 10% on the following years. In 1991 it had slightly increase by 7%.
